Thanks for visiting Fleabit Pet Photography, site of South Florida’s premiere dedicated pet photography boutique.
We love animals and we know you do too, which is why we chose to focus exclusively on beautiful, high-quality pet photography. Our photo shoots take place right in the comfort of your own home or at a favorite location, rather than in an unfamiliar studio, without sacrificing image or lighting quality. We offer a variety of photography styles including photojournalistic pictures to dynamic action shots to classic studio-lighting portraits (see gallery for examples).
We are based in Hollywood, Florida but serve the entire South Florida Metro area, and beyond (See the map for details).
Seb
Creative mastermind, seasoned pro photographer, and pet-whisperer; Seb has been taking pictures for over twenty years, for clients ranging from Fortune 100 Companies to individuals like you. After shooting a few pet-portrait sessions, he decided that animals were more interesting subjects than people and created Fleabit Pet Photography. He can usually be found behind a camera, glued to his laptop, jogging on the beach or making a mess in the kitchen.
Carrie
Having grown up with a menagerie of pet dogs, cats, horses, snakes and birds, Carrie is a lifelong animal-lover. The name “Fleabit” comes from her first horse, who was a beautiful fleabit gray. She organizes and coordinates all aspects of the business, and assists Seb during the shoots. A recovering attorney, she now focuses her energies on animal welfare, organic gardening and spending quality time with kitties.
Lily
The grande dame of the family, Lily was adopted from the Galveston Island Animal Shelter as a kitten in 1998. A dedicated loner, Lily doesn’t care for much (other than food). Her hobbies include lying in the sun and hissing at other cats.
Dot
Adopted as a kitten from the Galveston Island Animal Shelter, Dot is the shy girl of our brood. Strictly a mama’s girl, she enjoys following Carrie around, eating profusely, and hiding under couches.
Perkins
The supermodel of the bunch, Perkins, a.k.a. “kitty”, adopted us in 2006 and promptly stole our hearts. His favorite activities include curling up on your lap, pacing, defending the castle and snuggling with his partner in crime, Lazzie.
Laz
The runt of her litter, Laz was thought to be stillborn, when she defied the odds and and became a real scrapper despite being half the size of other cats. She can usually be found in a love embrace with Perkins, drinking from the shower or in the backyard chasing anything that flies.
Mabel
The newest member of the growing Fleabit family, Mabel was adopted from the Texas City Animal Shelter. Although not yet friends with the all the kitties, she is a bundle of energy who loves to play and is a master of selective listening.
